Body background black to reddish brown. The mantle margin ist bright blue, the outer margin comprising black with a very fine white outermost margin. The underside of Pseudoceros caeruleocinctus is uniformly black with a fine white margin. The body is usually not highly ruffled. It has a pair of erect pseudotentacles at the front made up of folded edges of the body.
Polyclad flatworms are not uncommon on coral reefs and feed mainly on colonial ascidians.
