Notoacmea elongata (Quoy & Gaimard, 1834)

Notoacmea elongata, common name the mud limpet, is a true limpet, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Lottiidae, one of the families of true limpets.

These limpet is endemic to New Zealand. Can be found under boulders from mud flats to exposed shores.
