Plicatula gibbosa Lamarck, 1801

Plicatula gibbosa, or the Atlantic kitten's paw, is a species of bivalve mollusc in the family Plicatulidae. The Atlantic Kitten Paw, Plicatula gibbosa Lamarck, 1801, is a bivalve and commonly found on the beaches.

Shell fan-shaped, thick and sculpture of 5-7 rounded ribs impart zigzag aspect to shell margin.
