Cumanotus Odhner, 1907

There are three species within the genus Cumanotus:
Cumanotus beaumonti (Eliot, 1906)
Cumanotus cuenoti Pruvot-Fol, 1948
Cumanotus fernaldi T. E. Thompson & G. H. Brown, 1984

The Cumanothus pictured is an undescribed species from California. As food specialists, members of the genus feed on certain hydrozoan polyps. Further information about Comanothus sp. unfortunately are not available.
