Info

Sacura boulengeri is a deep-water flagfish about whose biology little is known due to the rarity of catches.

The stomachs of flagfish landed by net were mainly filled with a species of krill (Acetes sp.) and sergestid shrimp (Sergestidae).

There are currently no known photographs of living animals, and more detailed information on the biology, behavior, and habitats of the species can only be gathered through the use of ROVs.
