Distribution.
Eastern Atlantic: primarily between Senegal and Nigeria, and in the Gulf of Guinea; also Cape Verde, Fernando Poo and others:

Biology:
Occur on rocky bottoms.
Also found in deeper offshore waters.
Feed on fishes and crustaceans.
