Sulu velvetfish
Paraploactis obbesi is a species of velvetfish found in the western Pacific Ocean. It grows to a maximum length of about 5 centimetres. Inhabits sand and rubble bottoms, frequently neas reefs, in 10-30 m.
Paraploactis obbesi is commonly referred to as Sulu velvetfish, Phantom velvetfish. Difficulty in the aquarium: There are no reports available yet that this animal has already been kept in captivity successfully. A aquarium size of at least 500 Liter is recommended. Toxicity: Toxic.
