Sarsia tubulosa ist eine Hydrozoonenmeduse. Der Lebenszyklus ist zweigeteilt mit einer kolonialen Polypenphase die Quallen durch ungeschlechtliche Vermehrung produziert die dann selbst eine geschlechtliche Fortpflanzung betreiben um Polypenlarven zu geben.
Fürs Aquarium ungeeignet.
