Info

Myja longicornis Bergh, 1896

Myja longicornis have very long cerata. This spindle-shaped cerata mimics hydroid polyps of Eudendrium sp. Myja longicornis feeds exclusively on Eudendrium sp.

The name "longicornis" referes to the long rhinophores of this species (Latin "cornis"= horn).
