Carminodoris bramale (Fahey & Gosliner, 2003)

The name "bramale" refers for its appearance, which a latin truffle, "tuber bramale".

Carminodoris bramale has large, rounded tubercles on the mantle.The coloration is light to medium mottled brown or tan.This species feeds exclusively on sponges.

Very similar is Carminodoris grandiflora. Both species have an identical appearance.The differ in anatomy of radular morphology and their glands.
