Cominella glandiformis is a species of predatory sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Buccinidae, the true whelks. This is an active scavenging carnivore.
The majority of such aggregations are associated with either the tellinid bivalve Macomona liliana (Iredale, 1915) or the venerid cockle Austrovenus stutchburyi (Wood, 1828).
